Commissioners

The responsibilities of the Commissioners are:

• To provide a reliable fortnightly refuse collection service.
• To provide and maintain street lighting.
• To provide and maintain public conveniences.
• To maintain the children’s playground.
• To maintain Jurby Parish Hall.
• Highway and footpath maintenance including road sweeping, gully cleaning, tree and hedge maintenance
• Grass cutting of community areas.

Meetings of the Commissioners take place on the second Monday of the month in the Commissioners’ Room at the Parish Hall.
